Big news may be coming to K-drama fans — director Lee Jung Hyo, the star PD behind hit dramas like Crash Landing on You and Romance Is a Bonus Book, might be joining Eum Hashtag, the agency representing stars like Kim Seolhyun and Jung So Min.
On September 16, a representative from Eum Hashtag revealed, “We are currently in talks regarding a contract with director Lee Jung Hyo.”
Eum Hashtag is already home to popular actors Seo Ji Hye, Kim Seolhyun, Jung So Min, Yoon Ji On, and Ahn So Yeon, and now the agency is looking to expand into drama production.
If confirmed, Lee Jung Hyo’s addition will be a huge step, as he has directed some of the most beloved dramas, including I Need Romance, Heartless City, Witch’s Romance, The Good Wife, Life on Mars, Crash Landing on You, and most recently, Doona!.
Currently, he is preparing for the release of Netflix’s Price of Confession and is also working on another Netflix project titled Long Vacation.
