Actor Nam Da Reum is back in the spotlight with a new drama and a stunning photoshoot.
The 2002-born star, who completed his military service in August 2023, showed off his mature charm in the September issue of Allure Korea as he prepared for his comeback in JTBC’s Friday drama My Youth.
In his interview, Nam Da Reum reflected on his past role as the younger version of Song Joong Ki, saying, “I was worried about doing a child role again, but the director’s suggestion and the script were so good that I chose it.”
On his romantic storyline, he shared, “It’s a situation where they like each other but have to push each other away. They don’t end up together, but I think those moments are really beautiful.”
Talking about his growth as an actor, he revealed, “The army was one of the turning points. I want to accept things naturally, in the flow of time. When the right time comes, I’ll accept it.”
My Youth tells the story of young people facing reality, love, and choices, and airs every Friday on JTBC.
