Actress Lee Min Jung made fans laugh after leaving a playful comment on her husband Lee Byung Hun’s stylish Marie Claire photoshoot.
On September 12, Lee Byung Hun uploaded several photos from his shoot, showing off sharp fashion and confident poses.
While fans praised his visuals, Lee Min Jung jokingly wrote, “Your photoshoot looks a thousand times better than your selfies, sunbae-nim,” which quickly caught attention and sparked plenty of fan replies.
But that wasn’t all. On her YouTube channel Lee Min Jung MJ, the actress also opened up about the early days of her relationship with Lee Byung Hun.
She revealed, “We dated for about a year before ‘Boys Over Flowers’ became a hit, but then he had to go abroad for a long time. From his side, he thought we should say goodbye. At the time I thought, ‘How dare he with me?’ (laughs). I didn’t see a real reason to break up, so I ended it right away.”
She even admitted she used to ignore his overseas calls, saying, “Sometimes he called at weird hours because of the time difference. I would just turn off my phone or leave him on read.”
Lee Min Jung shared that they later met again at award shows like Baeksang and Blue Dragon, where she deliberately ignored his eye contact. “He looked at me as if to greet me, but I ignored him (laughs). After that, we met again and eventually got married,” she said.
Fans loved her candid and humorous way of looking back at their relationship, proving once again why Lee Min Jung and Lee Byung Hun remain one of Korea’s most-loved celebrity couples.
