Singer Kim Jong Kook finally gave fans a peek at the guest list for his much-talked-about “secret wedding.”
On September 11, he uploaded a video on his YouTube channel Gym Jong Kook where he personally shared the news of his marriage with close friends and colleagues, just two weeks before the big day.
During the filming of SBS’s Running Man, Kim Jong Kook gathered Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, Song Ji Hyo, Haha, Yang Se Chan, and PD Choi Hyung In to make the announcement.
But fans were quick to notice that regular cast member Ji Ye Eun and semi-regular Choi Daniel were not on the guest list. Even longtime former members Lee Kwang Soo and Jeon So Min did not make the cut.
Other celebrities did get an invite, including My Little Old Boy’s Seo Jang Hoon, Problem Child in House’s Joo Woo Jae, as well as Kang Hoon, Jonathan, and Shorry.
His famous Dragon Club best friends — Jang Hyuk, Cha Tae Hyun, and Hong Kyung Min — also received the news through video calls.
Kim Jong Kook explained that he wanted a very small ceremony, saying, “I’m organizing the guest list for my wedding. It’s going to be very small.”
In fact, even among his Problem Child in House castmates, only Joo Woo Jae and Yang Se Chan were invited.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong Kook married his younger non-celebrity wife on September 5.
