Singer and actress Kang Mina will not be taking part in the much-anticipated I.O.I 10th anniversary reunion.
On September 12, her agency Story J Company shared with Newsen, “Kang Mina will not be joining the I.O.I reunion activities."
They added, "The period being discussed for the reunion overlaps with the filming schedule of her next drama and the promotion period after its release, so it has been a situation of much concern.”
They also explained, “We understand that fans have been waiting and looking forward for a long time, so we had long discussions with the artist. "
They added, "In the end, we respected her opinion that she wants to focus on her acting activities, and decided that it would be difficult for her to participate this time.”
At the moment, Kang Mina is appearing in the KBS 2TV weekend drama Twelve, which is only two episodes away from its finale.
