BTS’s Jungkook is proving once again that his solo power is unstoppable on Spotify.

According to the world’s biggest music streaming platform, Jungkook’s debut solo single Seven (released July 2023) ranked No. 88 on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart for the week of August 29 to September 4. With this, Seven has stayed on the chart for an incredible 112 weeks straight — making it the first and longest-running song by an Asian solo artist in history.

That’s not all. His first solo album GOLDEN (released November 2023) also secured No. 66 on the Weekly Top Albums Global chart for the same week. It has now remained on the chart for 96 weeks, setting another historic record as the first and longest-running album by an Asian solo artist.

Jungkook also landed at No. 185 on the Weekly Top Artists Global chart, and so far, he has achieved 118 chart entries on Spotify. He previously reached No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart with Seven, 3D, and Standing Next to You.

The records don’t stop there. On Spotify, Seven became the first Asian artist’s song to surpass 2.53 billion streams, while GOLDEN has exceeded 6 billion total streams. Jungkook’s personal Spotify profile has also hit 9.5 billion streams across all credits — the fastest for any Asian artist and the first ever for a K-pop soloist.

Meanwhile, the official music video for Seven recently surpassed 550 million views on YouTube, showing his unmatched global reach.
