Kim Woo Bin and Suzy are back together in a fantasy-like reunion that fans have been waiting nearly a decade for.
Netflix’s upcoming series Everything Will Come True has dropped new romance stills, teasing the sweet yet unusual chemistry between the two stars. The drama is set to premiere worldwide on October 3, just in time for Chuseok.
Everything Will Come True is described as a stress-free fantasy rom-com that follows Genie (Kim Woo Bin), a lamp spirit who wakes up after a thousand years, and Gayoung (Suzy), a human who lives without emotions. The two clash over three wishes, but their encounters lead to unexpected moments filled with laughter, tension, and romance.
Fans are especially hyped for this reunion, as it marks Kim Woo Bin and Suzy’s first romantic comedy together in 9 years, earning them the nickname “rom-com cheat code couple.”
In the stills, Genie shows two completely different sides—one with a dark, mysterious aura and piercing eyes, and another sitting comically in a rice field with boots and a cushion. Gayoung, meanwhile, appears stunning but eerie, showing her “strange yet beautiful psychopath” side as she coolly wields a kitchen knife over rice cakes.
Even when Genie tempts humans with wishes, Gayoung remains unfazed, keeping her focus on her breakfast. Yet, in other cuts, the two are seen standing close, their eyes locked, hinting at romantic tension that will soon grow.
Kim Woo Bin described Genie as a character with “many sides—strong and cruel at times, but also pathetic, timid, and even cute.” He explained, “At first he looks human, but since he’s a spirit, I tried to show a slightly different vibe through his behavior, expressions, and styling.”
Suzy also shared her thoughts, saying Gayoung is “a human who lacks emotions, raised under strict rules. She’s not kind or cute, but more creepy, robotic, and mechanical.” She added, “Gayoung doesn’t actually feel empathy—she only pretends. So I acted while trying not to feel emotions at all.”
With a mix of comedy, fantasy, and romance, Everything Will Come True is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting K-dramas of the year.
