BTS's Jungkook makes history again as ‘Seven’ MV surpasses 550 million YouTube views and proves his unstoppable global power

BTS’s Jungkook has set another huge milestone with his record-breaking solo hit Seven.

On September 10 KST, the official HYBE Labels YouTube channel confirmed that the Seven music video has now surpassed 550 million views. Released in July 2023 as Jungkook’s first solo single, the MV also holds more than 10.92 million likes, showing its lasting power nearly two years since its release.

This marks Jungkook’s first-ever solo MV to hit 550 million views, adding another career-high to his long list of achievements. The video reached 500 million in about 1 year and 8 months and continues climbing toward the 600 million mark.

Upon release, Seven shattered multiple records, including:

  • 35.48 million views in 24 hours
  • 50 million views in just 47 hours
  • 100 million views in 10 days
    It also became the most-liked MV by a K-soloist in 24 hours with 5.42 million likes.

Other Seven performance clips are also fan favorites. The official performance video has 129 million views, SBS Inkigayo’s encore fancam hit 13.4 million views, another fancam surpassed 10.2 million, and his BBC The One Show live stage reached 8.52 million views.

The MV even won the Bronze Award in the Film & Video category at the 2025 Clio Music Awards, one of the world’s top three advertising festivals.

On Spotify, Seven continues to make history as the first and longest-charting Asian solo song on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart, staying for 112 weeks straight, and as the fastest Asian artist song to surpass 2.5 billion streams (in just 767 days).

Billboard records include 111 weeks on the Global 200 and 112 weeks on the Global Excl. US chart, further proving Jungkook’s dominance.
