TWS are making waves in Japan with their explosive debut success.
On September 10, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) confirmed that the group’s Japanese debut single Nice to see you again (original title はじめまして / Hajimemashite) has surpassed 250,000 cumulative sales, officially earning a Gold Disc Platinum certification.
This is the group’s first Platinum record, following Gold certifications for their past releases — Last Bell and TRY WITH US. With each comeback, TWS keep breaking their own records, proving themselves as one of the fastest-rising K-pop rookies in Japan.

Debuting in July, the group made a strong impact right away. Nice to see you again took No.1 on Oricon and Billboard Japan’s major charts, sweeping four crowns in its first week. To celebrate, HYBE’s Pledis Entertainment launched large-scale promotions including pop-up stores, themed cafes, and karaoke campaigns across the country.
Their tour power is just as impressive. The group’s first Japan tour 2025 TWS TOUR '24/7:WITH:US' IN JAPAN drew around 50,000 fans, with most venues selling out so quickly that organizers had to open extra limited-view seats. On top of that, the rookies are set to perform at ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025, one of the country’s biggest music festivals, on September 15.
With a new album scheduled for October, TWS show no signs of slowing down, raising excitement for their next steps both in Korea and globally.
