Sunmi proved that her friendship with the Wonder Girls members is still going strong after all these years.
On September 9, the YouTube channel TEO uploaded a new episode of Salon Drip 2 featuring Sunmi as a guest.
During the talk, Sunmi proudly updated fans about her fellow members, saying, “Not long ago I filmed with Yubin unnie, and I recently went to see Sunye unnie in her musical. If Sohee does a play, I go watch her, and if Hyerim releases a book, I post it on Instagram.”

When asked what they usually talk about when they meet up, Sunmi laughed and answered, “Of course, it’s always America.”
She explained, “Even when we meet with producer Park Jin Young, we always end up talking about America — like cooking ramen on the tour bus or traveling 17 hours by bus while touring there.”

She added that despite joking around on broadcasts with comments like, “PD-nim, why did you take us to America back then?” she actually feels grateful. “When we were busking in front of the bus, PD-nim handed out booklets promoting us to people. Thinking about it now, he must have only been around 40 years old back then,” she shared.
Jang Doyeon, also present, commented, “Even 40 is young. There are so many fears at that age,” and Sunmi agreed, saying, “It must have been a scary challenge for PD-nim too.”
Sunmi also opened up about the toll of performing for so many years, revealing she injured her ankle from dancing in heels. “Even now my foot isn’t in good condition. Since I was young, I danced in heels for too long, so my toe nerves and tendons got inflamed. Even with injections, it didn’t heal. But I still think of it as an honorable scar from my experiences,” she said.
