Global rookie girl group KATSEYE has achieved a huge milestone at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
On September 8, the awards ceremony was held at UBS Arena in New York, USA, where KATSEYE took home the trophy for Push Performance of the Year with their breakout track Touch, released in July last year.
Before the main show, the group also lit up the Pre-Show stage with powerful performances of Gnarly and Gabriela, drawing big cheers from the crowd.
In their acceptance speech, KATSEYE shared heartfelt words: “First, we really want to thank our fans. It feels like we own the whole world.”
Formed through HYBE and Geffen Records’ global audition program The Debut: Dream Academy, KATSEYE has been climbing the charts and gaining global attention at record speed.
Their 2nd EP Beautiful Chaos recently debuted at No.4 on the Billboard 200 (July 12 chart), while Gabriela and Gnarly both entered the Billboard Hot 100, proving their status as one of the fastest-rising global girl groups.
With this historic MTV VMA win just a year after their debut, KATSEYE’s superstar journey is only getting bigger.
