10CM’s Kwon Jung Yeol has officially stepped into the role of MC for KBS 2TV’s beloved music talk show The Seasons, following in the footsteps of Park Bo Gum.
On September 5, KBS aired the premiere of The Seasons – 10CM’s Soothing Touch, which came after the August 1 finale of The Seasons – Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile.
The first episode featured artists who share a deep love for music, and Kwon Jung Yeol immediately stood out by showing off his unique vocals, strong stage presence, and warm chemistry with the guests.

Singer Lee Chan Hyuk, a former MC of The Seasons, appeared as the first guest and offered heartfelt advice, saying, “Don’t hold back your body. Sometimes you even have to go down on your knees.”
Kwon Jung Yeol then performed Lee Chan Hyuk’s new title track Vivid La La Love, even copying his style with hoop earrings, red sunglasses, and playful stage movements. His lively performance, complete with climbing on a chair and shaking his leg, brought energy to the studio.
Later, Kwon Jung Yeol’s close friends SG Wannabe’s Lee Seok Hoon and Soran’s Go Young Bae joined him. Together, they sang Ahn Jae Wook’s Friend in a pojangmacha (street tent bar) setting with soju, creating a nostalgic and emotional stage that touched the audience.

He also impressed by singing Epik High’s It’s Cold in the original key and delivering his hit I Hope It Reaches You with Song Eun I, showcasing his strong vocal appeal and versatility.
Toward the end, he made fans laugh when he got tongue-tied asking the audience, “How was Soothing Touch with me today..” before wrapping up with gratitude: “Thanks to you all, I was able to make it safely to the end. Let’s get 10cm closer every week.”
The show closed with Kwon Jung Yeol’s heartfelt performance of The Way We Are Now from his 5th full album, marking a memorable first step as the new face of The Seasons.
