It’s going to be a star-studded gathering. Yoo Jae Suk is bringing together some of the biggest names in entertainment — from his longtime partner Lee Kwang Soo, to rising heartthrob Byun Woo Seok, and even the “variety queen” Lee Hyori — for his brand new Netflix variety show Yoo Jae Suk Camp.

According to Star News, actors Lee Kwang Soo and Byun Woo Seok will join as fixed cast members, while Lee Hyori is in talks to appear as a special guest. The show is expected to premiere next year.

Yoo Jae Suk Camp will mark Yoo Jae Suk’s first attempt at running a guesthouse in his 34-year career. As the friendly camp host, the “nation’s MC” will personally welcome visitors while creating laughter, chatter, and heartfelt memories. The concept is to let guests “play, chat, and joke endlessly with Yoo Jae Suk,” raising curiosity about what kind of chemistry and fun the cast will deliver.

The show will be directed by Jung Hyo Min PD, who pioneered the “guesthouse variety” format with JTBC’s Hyori’s Homestay (2017–2018) and more recently worked on Netflix’s Zombieverse.

Lee Kwang Soo will once again reunite with Yoo Jae Suk, after building a strong bond since their Running Man days in 2010. Even after leaving the program in 2021, Lee Kwang Soo continued to team up with Yoo Jae Suk on Busted!, Korean No.1, and The Zone: Survival Mission. Fans are already excited to see their playful chemistry again in Yoo Jae Suk Camp.

Byun Woo Seok, who rose to fame through tvN’s hit drama Lovely Runner, is also set to bring fresh energy to the show. Co-director Lee So Min PD shared, “With a duo that brings both familiarity and novelty, we expect them to create cheerful synergy and rich chemistry. New staff members will also be joining.”

Meanwhile, Lee Hyori’s reunion with Yoo Jae Suk is gaining huge attention. The two have been adored as the “nation’s siblings” since their iconic variety moments on Happy Together and Family Outing. They also reunited in 2020 on Hangout With Yoo, where they led project groups SSAK3 and Refund Sisters to massive success. With her past collaboration with Jung Hyo Min PD on Hyori’s Homestay, fans are highly anticipating her possible guest appearance.

Although Netflix clarified that “no official proposal has been made,” Star News reported that positive discussions have already taken place. As a pioneer of the guesthouse reality genre, Lee Hyori’s potential return with Yoo Jae Suk is raising expectations.

The hype is already massive. At the Netflix Variety Festival 2025, PD Jung Hyo Min revealed that over 55,000 teams applied to be part of the show, with 3,500 interviewed. He added, “We’re excited not only for Yoo Jae Suk’s trusted leadership, but also for viewers to see a clumsier side of him that has never been shown before. It will truly be a guesthouse created together with the guests.”

Filming for Yoo Jae Suk Camp is scheduled to begin in September or October once the cast lineup is finalized.
