Paul Kim was left flustered after WOODZ shared some unexpected stories about him on air.
On September 5, episode 12 of Mnet and tvN’s variety show Live Wire featured Paul Kim and WOODZ together as guests.
During the broadcast, WOODZ revealed their surprising connection, saying, “From my side, I thought we had a connection. He followed me first, so I was going to follow him back, but when I checked, he had already unfollowed me.”
Paul Kim immediately looked embarrassed and apologized, saying, “First of all, I’m really sorry. Back then, whenever I liked or admired someone, I followed them all. But then I thought maybe I followed too many people, and that’s when my ‘celebrity disease’ started.”
He added with a laugh, “There was even a trend where people made their following count zero. I stayed up for two nights unfollowing everyone.” His honesty made the studio burst into laughter.
WOODZ then revealed another story: “When I wasn’t famous yet, I once sent him a message because I wanted to collaborate.”
Paul Kim, looking even more flustered, jokingly exclaimed, “What are you, really!” before explaining, “I’m not from the DM generation. I never thought I had to check DMs regularly.”
WOODZ lightened the moment, saying, “Honestly, I’m the same. At that time, I just sent it thinking ‘what if.’” Paul Kim then promised, “I’ll send you a DM myself.”
