Lee Hyori has shared the firm rule for her upcoming yoga studio, choosing simplicity over flashy celebrations.
On September 4, Lee Hyori posted on her personal SNS, “We politely decline any more plants or gifts. I will only accept your kind thoughts. We aim for an empty practice room so more people can come and practice,” along with a photo of the yoga space.
Previously, Lee Hyori announced that she was opening a yoga studio in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. Classes were originally scheduled for the first week of September, but due to issues with the reservation system, the opening was postponed by a week.

The singer also stressed, “We politely refuse all sponsorships and offers. We are working to create a quiet and focused atmosphere for practice. Please understand that I cannot respond to each message individually.”
Despite her request, congratulatory gifts from fellow stars have already arrived. Yoo Jae Suk sent a large plant with the message, “Director Lee Hyori, I wish your great success,” while Seo Jang Hoon gifted another big plant with the note, “I wish Director Lee Hyori eternal success.”
After marrying musician Lee Sang Soon in 2013,Lee Hyori spent about 11 years living in Jeju before moving back to Seoul last year. The couple’s new home in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, reportedly cost around 6 billion KRW (approx. 60 billion won) and was paid for in full cash.
Fans can also look forward to seeing Lee Hyori on screen again. She will join Yoo Jae Suk’s upcoming Netflix variety program Yoo Jae Suk Camp alongside Lee Kwang Soo and Byun Woo Seok, and she is also set to appear as a staff member in a new guesthouse-themed variety show next year.
