aespa (Karina, Winter, Giselle, Ningning) are proving once again that they are one of the strongest girl groups of this generation, as their newest release Rich Man has already surpassed 1.11 million pre-orders.
According to SM Entertainment, aespa’s 6th mini album Rich Man, released on September 5 at 1 p.m. through various music platforms, recorded over 1.11 million pre-orders as of September 4.
With this achievement, the group is expected to earn their 7th consecutive million-seller title, following their past hits: Girls, MY WORLD, Drama, Armageddon, Whiplash, and Dirty Work.

The album includes six tracks: the title song Rich Man, the addictive whistle-filled Drift, the metaphorical Bubble about fake personas, the dreamy R&B track Count On Me, the upbeat Angel #48, and the medium-tempo pop song To The Girls. Together, they highlight aespa’s wide musical range and unique color.
The title track Rich Man is a dance number featuring raw electric guitar sounds, layered band instrumentals, and aespa’s signature powerful vocals. The performance is expected to stand out with its catchy yet simple choreography, building into a high-energy climax.
The music video, released simultaneously on SMTOWN’s official YouTube channel, reimagines “Rich Man” as someone who moves to their own rhythm even during life’s toughest challenges. With scenes of car chases and rugby games, the MV delivers bold and thrilling visuals that match the song’s explosive energy.
Meanwhile, aespa will unveil their first live stage of Rich Man on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank on September 5, officially kicking off their comeback promotions.
