BTS’s Jungkook has once again shown his unmatched global power by breaking Spotify records that no other Asian solo artist has ever achieved.
His first solo single Seven, released in July 2023, ranked No. 69 on the Spotify Weekly Top Songs Global chart (Aug 22–28). With this, the song has now stayed on the chart for 111 consecutive weeks, setting the record as the longest-charting song by an Asian soloist in Spotify history.
Meanwhile, his debut solo album GOLDEN also continued its impressive run. It ranked No. 54 on the Spotify Weekly Top Albums Global chart for the same period, now marking 95 weeks on the chart—another all-time record for an Asian soloist.

Jungkook also made it onto the Spotify Weekly Top Artists Global chart at No. 175, extending his presence there to 117 weeks total, proving his star power even during inactive periods.
With Seven surpassing 2.52 billion streams and GOLDEN breaking past 6 billion cumulative streams, Jungkook remains the fastest and first Asian solo artist to cross 9.5 billion total Spotify streams across all his credited songs.
Fans proudly call him the “streaming king”, and with his latest records, Jungkook has only solidified that title further.
