2PM’s Jun. K opened up about his long journey at JYP Entertainment and the gratitude he feels toward founder J.Y. Park.

In a recent interview, Jun. K revealed, “It’s my 21st year at JYP. Honestly, a few years ago I did worry, wondering if I should keep staying at the company. I thought about it a lot.”

He explained that during that time, he had a heartfelt conversation with J.Y. Park. “I talked with Jin Young hyung, and he told me he’s thankful I’m here. I was very grateful when he said that,” Jun. K shared.

Having joined JYP as a teenager, Jun. K reflected on the company that shaped his career, saying he feels lucky and thankful for the honest and upright guidance he received.

Despite seeing other members of 2PM move to different agencies to pursue new paths, Jun. K expressed his own sense of belonging: “I feel thankful within JYP. I haven’t decided or thought, ‘I should go out and try something alone.’”

With over two decades at the label, Jun. K continues to stand as one of JYP’s most loyal artists, carrying both respect and gratitude for the place that has been his home since his youth.
