Suzy’s agency CEO shuts down baseless marriage rumor

Singer and actress Suzy has become the target of false marriage rumors, but her agency’s CEO stepped in with a firm response to protect her.

On August 28, a post appeared in an online marriage and parenting community claiming, “Suzy is marrying the CEO of OOOO. The announcement will be out soon. Wow, Suzy really got lucky.” The reckless rumor quickly spread across multiple communities, drawing attention.

In response, Kim Jang Kyun, CEO of Management Soop, personally issued a warning through his Instagram account, writing: “If you get caught spreading lies, you’ll be punished.” His sharp message made it clear that the marriage rumor was completely baseless.

This is not the first time the agency has had to fight back against false claims. Back in 2018, when similar marriage rumors surrounded actors Gong Yoo and Jung Yoo Mi, Kim also responded strongly, even hinting at legal action. At that time, Management Soop followed through with lawsuits against those who spread the fake stories.

Fans expressed both relief and anger at the situation, leaving comments such as, “Please protect Suzy,” “CEO, we ask for strong legal action,” “She’s about to release a new project in a year, and these malicious rumors are spreading again,” and “Who do they think they are to say she will get married? People believe these lies too easily. Please sue them all. This makes me so angry.”

Meanwhile, Suzy is set to make her return on October 3 with Netflix’s upcoming original series “All Shall Come True,” drawing anticipation from global fans.
