Even while on hiatus due to the ongoing legal dispute between their agency ADOR and HYBE, NewJeans continue to set massive records worldwide.

On August 24, Spotify confirmed that NewJeans’ hit track Ditto from the single OMG has officially surpassed 800,010,018 streams as of August 22. This makes Ditto the group’s second song to hit over 800 million streams, following OMG.

Originally released on December 19, 2022, as a pre-release track, Ditto reinterprets the Baltimore club dance genre with NewJeans’ own dreamy and delicate style.

With soft vocals, warm sounds, and memorable humming, the track quickly gained worldwide attention. Notably, it also marked NewJeans’ entry into both the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Top 100 just six months after debut.

In Korea, Ditto set records on Melon by ranking No. 1 on the daily chart for 99 consecutive days and leading the weekly chart for 14 weeks straight.

It later topped Melon’s 2023 year-end chart and remains a strong chart contender even nearly two years and eight months after release.

In May, the track also won Best K-Pop Song in Japan at the Music Awards Japan 2025, further proving its long-lasting popularity.

With this milestone, NewJeans now hold 15 songs with over 100 million streams each on Spotify:

  • OMG and Ditto – over 800 million
  • Super Shy – over 700 million
  • Hype Boy – over 600 million
  • Attention and New Jeans – over 400 million
  • ETA – over 300 million
  • Cookie, Hurt, Cool With You, How Sweet – over 200 million each
  • ASAP, Get Up, Supernatural, Bubble Gum – over 100 million each

Altogether, NewJeans’ discography has now been streamed more than 6.6 billion times on Spotify, cementing their place as one of K-pop’s biggest global acts.
