BTS's Jungkook turns a simple hoodie into gold as fans sell it out after seeing him wear it on live

BTS’s Jungkook has once again shown the incredible “Jungkook effect” as the clothes he casually wore sold out in no time.

On August 17 (KST), Jungkook went live on Weverse through his Baddada broadcast. During the stream, he wore a black LU’U DAN Washed Zip Hoodie over a gray sleeveless top, giving off a natural but stylish look that fans loved. His earrings and lip piercing added even more to his cool and trendy charm.

Not long after, the official World Music Awards (WMA) account announced, “All sizes of the LU’U DAN Washed Zip Hoodie that BTS’s Jungkook wore on the beach during his Weverse live are already sold out on the official store website.”

Fans and media quickly reacted, with outlets like SK POP calling him the undeniable “SOLD OUT KING.”

This isn’t the first time Jungkook’s influence has been proven. Back on July 31, even the simple mask he wore when departing for Los Angeles sold out temporarily. Over the years, items seen in his broadcasts — from beer glasses, scented candles, mugs, and seaweed flakes to fried chicken — have all sold out after he casually showed or mentioned them. In fact, the fried chicken brand he ordered once even ranked No.1 and No.6 in real-time most searched food keywords on delivery apps.

Clothes, shoes, bags, perfumes, wine, toothbrushes, fabric softeners, kombucha, and more — Jungkook’s power to sell out anything he touches has become legendary worldwide, living up to his title as the ultimate “sold out king.”
