Legendary 1st-gen idol group H.O.T. will be appearing as a full group on JTBC’s Newsroom — marking their first broadcast appearance together in 6 years.

On August 19, Hanteo Global (CEO Kwak Young Ho), the organizer of the upcoming Hanteo Music Festival (Han Eum Fe), confirmed the news:

“All H.O.T. members will appear on JTBC Newsroom.”

The special segment will air on August 23 in the evening, where the members will open up about their decision to reunite, their emotions about standing together again, and their preparations for their highly anticipated performance.

The news comes shortly after it was revealed that H.O.T. will reunite for the first time in 6 years at Han Eum Fe. The announcement has already created massive buzz across media, social platforms, and fan communities. Their upcoming broadcast is expected to bring even more attention from both fans and the industry.

Meanwhile, H.O.T. will headline the Hanteo Music Festival on September 6 and 7 at Seoul World Cup Stadium. The group is preparing a concert-level performance lasting over 60 minutes each day, with a setlist of at least 13 songs including solo stages.

The Hanteo Music Festival is being held for the very first time this year by Hanteo Global, often called “the foundation of Korean music.” The two-day event will feature performances from K-pop artists across generations to celebrate the history and future of Korean music.
