ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo is already making headlines in the military with a lighthearted eyewitness account from his training camp.
On August 19, a netizen shared a story online about seeing Cha Eun Woo at the camp. According to the post, “My senior officer’s son enlisted at the same time, and that week Cha Eun Woo was in charge of dishwashing."
He added, "But the soldiers all gave their dishes only to him, just so they could see his face.”
Fans reacted with mixed emotions, leaving comments such as, “It’s funny but sad, I would have gone to see him too,” “I hope he doesn’t struggle too much,” and “I’m sure everyone helped share the work.”
Cha Eun Woo enlisted on July 28. After completing basic training at the Army Training Center in Nonsan, Chungnam, he will serve in the military band. His discharge date is set for January 27, 2027.
