BLACKPINK’s Lisa is proving once again that she’s not only a global superstar but also a role model with a kind heart.
On August 18, Sony Music Korea revealed that Lisa donated all the profits from her Welcome to Lisa’s Closet flea market, which took place in June, to the global children’s rights NGO Good Neighbors.
The flea market in Hannam-dong, Seoul, drew huge attention as Lisa sold her own clothes, accessories, and beauty items. The event was a special gift for fans, letting them meet her up close while also supporting a meaningful cause.
According to Good Neighbors, Lisa’s donation will fund a water and sanitation project in Niger, Africa. The money will go toward installing solar-powered systems, water tanks, and clean water facilities, helping over 6,800 residents and children in the Kollo region gain access to safe water.
Lisa shared, “Thanks to everyone who joined in sharing, it was a precious time where I could deliver hope to someone’s future. I will continue to practice sharing so I can bring positive change to children in need.”
Fans praised her selfless act, calling her a true inspiration for using her global influence to spread kindness.
