Singer Lee Hyori has shared the sad news of saying goodbye to her cherished dog, Seokssam.
On August 16, Lee Hyori posted the message, “Farewell, our Seokssam,” along with several touching photos on her social media.
The pictures showed Seokssam looking happy, while one drawing of a dog lying on a cloud with the words “Goodbye everyone” moved many fans to tears.
Earlier, Lee Hyori revealed on a variety show that Seokssam had been battling terminal cancer. At the time, she also spoke emotionally about her other dogs — Soonshim, who had already passed away, and Guana, who can no longer walk and is preparing for her final days.
After the news, netizens left heartfelt comments such as, “Hope you feel no pain in dog heaven,” “Seokssam, play happily with the friends who went before you,” “It feels so personal, I’m even sadder,” and “Stay strong, Hyori unnie.”
