Actor Lee Do Hyun is set to make a special appearance on the baseball field.
On August 17, the Doosan Bears will host a home game against the KIA Tigers at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul, where Lee Do Hyun will throw the ceremonial first pitch.
Lee Do Hyun, who debuted in the 2017 tvN drama Prison Playbook, has since built a strong acting career with hit works like Youth of May, Sweet Home, The Glory, and Exhuma. His mix of talent and popularity has made him one of the most in-demand actors of his generation.
A known Doosan Bears fan, Lee Do Hyun previously threw a first pitch at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in July 2023. Not long after, he enlisted in the Air Force military band in August 2023 and was officially discharged on May 13 this year.
Sharing his excitement, Lee Do Hyun said, “I’m excited to meet the fans again at Jamsil Baseball Stadium after completing my military service. I want to pass on good energy and share in a victory together.”
Since his discharge, Lee Do Hyun has also wrapped up his first-ever Asia fan meeting tour, proving his steady popularity both in Korea and overseas.
