
BLACKPINK has once again claimed the top spot in the August 2025 Idol Group Brand Reputation rankings, with BTS in second place and IVE in third.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 81,038,147 pieces of big data on idol group brands from July 15 to August 15 — a 13.55% increase compared to last month’s 71,366,509 pieces. The brand reputation index is based on big data analysis measuring consumer engagement, media coverage, communication, and community buzz for both boy groups and girl groups.



1st — BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa)

4th — Red Velvet — 3,877,780 (↑ 85.86%)

Director Koo Chang Hwan explained, “In August 2025, BLACKPINK ranked 1st in idol group brand reputation. Compared to July, brand consumption fell by 8.81%, brand issues fell by 5.36%, but brand communication rose by 1.64%, and brand diffusion jumped by 34.22%.”
Keyword analysis for BLACKPINK showed strong results for “run,” “world tour,” and “BLINK,” with a 92.27% positive score.
The full top 30 also included names like Red Velvet, SEVENTEEN, Super Junior, SHINee, TWICE, BIGBANG, RIIZE, ENHYPEN, EXO, Stray Kids, INFINITE, fromis_9, NCT, ATEEZ, ASTRO, Wanna One, and more.
