Park Seo Joon is marking his 14th year since debut in the most heartwarming way — by giving back to those in need.
On August 12, the actor took to Instagram to share a message that read, “Giving back the love I’ve received in celebration of my anniversary,” along with a photo as proof of his latest good deed.
The photo showed a certificate of his 100 million won donation to Samsung Medical Center, which will go toward funding treatment for children battling cancer. Samsung Medical Center expressed their appreciation, saying,
“Thank you sincerely for delivering this donation filled with warmth. We will repay your kindness through our patients’ health and happiness.”
Park Seo Joon debuted in 2011 through the music video for Bang Yong Guk’s I Remember, and this year marks his 14th anniversary in the entertainment industry. Reflecting on his journey, he wrote,
“I sincerely thank everyone who congratulated me. Back then I was young, and now I’m in the process of maturing. I hope this journey will continue.”
Meanwhile, Park Seo Joon has chosen JTBC’s upcoming drama Waiting for Kyung Do as his next project. The romantic comedy follows Lee Kyung Do (played by Park Seo Joon) and Seo Ji Woo (played by Won Ji An), a couple who dated twice — at age 20 and again at 28 — before breaking up. Fate brings them back together years later, this time as a reporter covering an affair scandal and the wife of the scandal’s central figure. The drama is set to air at the end of the year.
