ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo is showing a whole new side of himself in the military.
On August 13, the Army Training Center’s official website shared their latest “Trainee Sketch” update, which included a new photo of the singer-actor.
In the picture, Cha Eun Woo stands tall in his military uniform, exuding discipline and focus. Fans were quick to notice the trainee company commander armband on his shoulder — a sign of leadership during training.
Cha Eun Woo enlisted on July 28 and is currently undergoing basic training at the Army Training Center in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province.
Once he completes training, he will serve in the Army band. His discharge date is scheduled for January 27, 2027.
Before heading off to fulfill his duties, Cha Eun Woo connected with fans in a live broadcast, sharing, “I’m curious and excited about my life in my 30s after enlisting. I hope for good luck in everything you do, and I’ll return safely.”
