BTS’s Jungkook continues to prove his massive star power as he smashes Spotify records like no other Asian solo artist.

Jungkook’s solo debut single Seven”, released in July 2023, just hit a huge milestone by staying on Spotify’s “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart for 107 weeks in a row. That’s the longest time any song by an Asian solo artist has ever stayed on the chart.

His solo album ‘GOLDEN’, which dropped in November 2023, is also making waves. It ranked 54th on Spotify’s “Weekly Top Albums Global” chart for the week of July 25–31, marking its 91st week on the chart — another record for an Asian solo artist.

That’s not all. Jungkook also landed at #175 on the “Weekly Top Artists Global” chart for the same week, and this marks his 113th total week on the chart, showing consistent global love from fans.

As of August 7 KST, “Seven” has racked up over 2.467 billion streams, making it the first song by an Asian artist to ever hit that number on Spotify. Meanwhile, ‘GOLDEN’ now has 5.9 billion total streams, the most for any album by an Asian soloist in Spotify history.

Jungkook’s own Spotify profile is just as impressive. He now has 9.3 billion total streams under all credits, becoming the fastest Asian artist and first K-pop soloist to hit that number.

He’s also gaining fans fast — his monthly listeners are steady at around 17.5 million, and his account recently became the fastest among all Asian artists to reach 18.1 million followers.

Jungkook keeps setting the bar higher and higher, proving time and again that he's truly in a league of his own.
