BLACKPINK’s Rosé is on fire as she lands a jaw-dropping 8 nominations at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA)—and fans can’t stop talking about it!

On August 5, the official VMA website revealed the full list of nominees, and Rosé's name showed up not once, but eight times. Her duet “APT.” (Apartment) with Bruno Mars picked up 7 nominations, including some of the biggest awards of the night like Video of the Year and Song of the Year.

The hit collab is also up for Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, and Best Visual Effects, showing just how much impact the song—and its stunning visuals—made on fans and critics alike.

On top of that, Rosé’s solo track “Toxic Till the End” from her album Rosie received a nomination for Best K-Pop, making her a strong contender to take home multiple trophies this year.

After hearing the big news, Rosé shared her surprise on social media, saying, “I just found out I was nominated in 8 categories at the VMAs. I’m so shocked I don’t even know what to say.”

The 2025 MTV VMAs will be held on September 7 at the UBS Arena in New York, and all eyes will be on Rosé as she competes in some of the most competitive categories of the night.
