On the latest episode of SBS’s Dolsing Fourmen aired on August 5, actor Nam Yoon Soo looked back on his high school days — and revealed what it was like to go to school with ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo.

During the show, Nam Yoon Soo, MMA fighter Choo Sung Hoon, and singer Park Ji Hyun appeared as guests. When Lee Sang Min brought up Nam Yoon Soo’s high school nickname, he asked,

“You were called the ‘Chair King’ at Hanlim Arts High School. Just how popular were you?”

Nam Yoon Soo replied with a laugh,

“There was a time when five people confessed to me all at once. I thought of them as just friends, but I guess they didn’t.”

But things apparently changed when Cha Eun Woo transferred in.

Lee Sang Min added,

“They say your popularity dropped when Cha Eun Woo came to your school.”

Nam Yoon Soo smiled and responded honestly,

“Our images were totally different. Cha Eun Woo was a true flower boy.”

He continued,

“He was already a celebrity back then, so he couldn’t come to school often. But I came to school every day, so I think students liked that about me.”

Lee Sang Min then joked,

“So it’s like, ‘Cha Eun Woo is mysterious, but Nam Yoon Soo is someone you’ll see again tomorrow.’”

Then Tak Jae Hoon teased him by saying,

“You’re really trying not to lose to Cha Eun Woo until the end!”

Nam Yoon Soo laughed and replied quickly,

“No, it’s not like that!”

Fans are loving this wholesome and funny moment between stars — and many agree, both actors were definitely heartthrobs back in the day!
