Girls' Generation's YoonA recently opened up about something fans never expected — she sometimes cries when drinking!
On August 4, YoonA appeared on the YouTube show "Sad Brother Shin Dong Yeop" along with actor Ahn Bo Hyun, her co-star in the new movie The Devil Came Home.
During the episode, YoonA casually asked host Shin Dong Yeop, “Do you often get drunk while filming YouTube content?”
Shin Dong Yeop answered honestly, “Yes, I drink to get drunk,” and added that he usually listens to music through a speaker when drinking at home.
That’s when YoonA shared something surprising. “When the mood, music, and everything fits just right… I suddenly start crying,” she admitted.
Shin Dong Yeop was shocked and jokingly raised his fist toward her, making YoonA ask, “Wait, are you serious?” thinking maybe he had the same experience.
But instead of agreeing, Shin Dong Yeop laughed and said, “That’s your drinking habit! That’s what it is.”
He playfully continued, “Just say your habit is crying when you’re drunk,” making everyone on set burst into laughter.
YoonA then pulled back her hand in fake frustration and joked, “So that’s my drinking habit? What do I do now?” making the mood even more fun.
Meanwhile, YoonA and Ahn Bo Hyun are starring in the upcoming comedy film The Devil Came Home. The story follows a jobless man named Gil Goo (Ahn Bo Hyun), who ends up with a strange part-time job looking after a woman named Sun Ji (YoonA) — who turns into a devil at night!
Directed by Lee Sang Geun, who also worked on the hit movie Exit, the film is set to hit theaters on August 13.
