On August 3, the legendary girl group took the stage for the halftime show at the 2025 Coupang Play Series match between Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, held at Seoul World Cup Stadium. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, but the real heat came during halftime when 2NE1 lit up the stage.

Just a week earlier, on July 26, Park Bom's agency D Nation Entertainment announced her absence from Waterbomb Busan 2025 due to health concerns. While fans were disappointed to see only CL, Sandara Park, and Gong Minzy on that stage, Park Bom’s return at the Coupang Play Series more than made up for it.
