Oh My Girl member Arin revealed that she took inspiration from BLACKPINK’s Jennie when preparing to walk the red carpet at the Cannes International Series Festival!
On July 30, a new video was uploaded to Park Na Rae’s YouTube channel, featuring Arin and her S Line co-star Lee Soo Hyuk.
The two talked about their experience attending the Cannes event, where their drama S Line was officially invited and even received a music award.
During the video, Lee Soo Hyuk shared how amazed he was by Arin’s professional attitude, even after a tiring long flight and his own hangover. He said Arin confidently showed off several poses on the red carpet, impressing everyone around her.
Curious, Park Na Rae asked, “Isn’t striking poses for an idol event different from doing it at Cannes?”
Arin nodded and explained, “I studied a lot of poses for Cannes. Since this was overseas, I watched Jennie and the BLACKPINK members and saw how they posed abroad.”
She then demonstrated one of her favorite poses — gently folding her fingers. Arin said, “I imagined Jennie while trying to look chic, but I guess I can’t bend my pinky. In all the photos, my pinky was just sticking out.”
Lee Soo Hyuk laughed and commented, “I guess that happens when you’re really trying to express a certain feeling.”
