BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) is speaking out — and he's asking fans to respect safety at the airport.
On July 28, V connected with fans through a live broadcast on Weverse, where he opened up about his recent struggles with crowd behavior at airports.
V revealed he hasn't been able to pose or greet fans properly during his airport arrivals lately due to growing safety concerns.
“The airport isn’t ours, is it?” he said, highlighting how some fans have created risky and disorderly situations by ignoring safety rules and crowd control.
The singer then brought up the "Purple Line" — a fan-led campaign from 2018 where about 20 fans held purple ribbons, BTS’s symbolic color, and formed an organized line to help ensure the members could move safely through the airport. The thoughtful gesture left a strong impression on V.
“If you could bring back the Purple Line we used to have, and if you can keep things safe and orderly, that would be great,” he shared. “Then I could think more about what to wear at the airport, maybe even wear a suit.”
V’s message isn’t just about fashion — it’s a clear call for fans to show their love in safer and more respectful ways. Fans are now urging each other online to be more mindful and supportive when idols travel.
