ASTRO’s Yoon San Ha recently opened up about a close call while driving that left him shaken—and also gave fans a peek into his solo life and strong connection with the group.
On the July 29 episode of JTBC’s Han Moon Chul’s Black Box Review (Hanblee), San Ha appeared as a guest and shared a frightening driving experience.
“A bicycle suddenly came out while I was driving,” he said.
“I almost got into an accident, but I was able to avoid it thanks to a road mirror.”

The moment caught the attention of viewers, especially as San Ha explained that he drives often and watches Hanblee to learn more about staying safe.
“I’ve been a longtime fan of this show,” he said. “I drive a lot, and I’ve learned a lot by watching.”
The ASTRO member, who recently made his comeback with his 2nd solo mini album, also talked about the group’s reaction to his solo activities.

“We’re like family now,” San Ha shared. “Even when I go film a music video, they’re like, ‘He’ll do well on his own.’”
When asked whether fans prefer his solo or group work, San Ha humbly responded,
“I think fans still like seeing us together as a group more.”
He also gave the studio a treat by dancing to a part of his new title track "Extra Virgin," showing off his performance skills.
San Ha’s 184 cm tall frame didn’t go unnoticed either. Comedian Lee Soo Geun commented,
“People should be tall,”
while Kyu Hyun joked,
“Even when he crouches, he still looks like he’s standing.”
Between his height, talent, and humble personality, San Ha continues to shine both on stage and off—whether as a solo artist or a member of ASTRO.
