What the experts say

Director Koo Chang Hwan of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute explained:

BLACKPINK jumped to No. 1 with help from their world tour and strong music performance. Lim Young Woong held steady thanks to his fans and good deeds. BTS still makes headlines as people wait for their full return after military service.”

He also added:

“The total data in July was down 11.91% compared to June. Brand consumption dropped the most at 19.01%, followed by decreases in media, communication, and community engagement.”

Even with a drop in overall buzz, stars like BLACKPINK and PSY proved that strong performances and loyal fans can still shake up the rankings.
