BLACKPINK’s Jennie is taking another big step in her global career — and this time, she’s teaming up with one of the biggest names in music business.

On July 24, Variety reported that Jennie has officially signed with Alta Music Group, a brand-new company started by Jeremy Erlich, the former Global Head of Music at Spotify.

Alta Music Group is based in Los Angeles and will be handling recording, publishing, and artist management. It aims to support artists worldwide and help them grow even bigger.

Jennie is now the first artist to sign under Alta Music Group, marking a huge move in her solo career. Her company, Odd Atelier (OA), and Alta Music Group have agreed on a global management partnership.

Before this, Alta Music Group had already teamed up with The Black Label, home to BLACKPINK’s Rosé, for music distribution and business in the U.S. The label is run by Teddy, who is also known for producing many of BLACKPINK’s hits.

Jeremy Erlich shared, “I’ve focused on creating an environment where global artists can achieve long-term success. With Alta Music Group, I now have the chance to continue that mission. Our amazing team is here to support artists so they can focus only on making music. Nothing else matters.”

Fans are now looking forward to what Jennie will do next with this powerful new team behind her. Her global influence just keeps growing!
