The July 26 broadcast of tvN’s weekend drama Law and the City (Episode 7) recorded a solid average rating of 5.7% in Seoul, peaking at 6.7%, and achieved a nationwide average of 5.7%, with a peak of 6.6%, according to Nielsen Korea.
The show also ranked #1 in its time slot across all cable and general programming channels, and took the #1 spot among all channels, including public networks, in the key 20–49 demographic, tvN’s main target audience.

This strong performance follows a wave of interest in the blossoming romance between the two lead characters, Ahn Joo Hyung (Lee Jong Suk) and Kang Hee Ji (Moon Ga Young).

Though the episode was filled with meaningful and emotional moments, it was their growing closeness that caught viewers’ attention — and helped boost ratings to a new high.
