Four new stars with strong skills and bold personalities are shaking things up on JTBC’s Let’s Play Soccer 4 (Mungchana 4) — and EXO’s Xiumin is already stealing the spotlight.
On the upcoming July 27 episode (Ep. 17) of the hit sports variety show, the second round of the draft will take place. Four fresh faces — Xiumin, Han Hyun Min, Cheon Ju An, and Shin Woo Jae — are joining the game as official candidates, and fans are eager to see which teams they'll be picked for.
The episode gathers all coaches and current players in one place for the big draft. Each new player came prepared to impress:

- Xiumin, nicknamed the idol joker
- Han Hyun Min, also called the Osan Middle School Pogba
- Cheon Ju An, the most wanted free agent
- Shin Woo Jae, a former German semi-pro player
But the moment that got the most attention? When Xiumin confidently introduced himself.
“My soccer style is peaceful, but my personality is more like a hitter,” he said. “If someone attacks me, I fight back right away.”

Though he’s known as a sweet and gentle idol, viewers saw a totally different side — one filled with fiery competitiveness. Even Coach Park Hang Seo immediately recognized him and said, “Isn’t EXO really famous?”
Despite his bold words, Xiumin showed some unexpected nerves during the skill test. While he’s used to performing in front of huge concert crowds, the pressure of the draft made him tense. Fans are now curious if he’ll be able to prove himself under pressure.
Meanwhile, the other draft candidates also brought their A-game:
- Han Hyun Min showed off insane jumping power in a header challenge against the “Dolphin Header” Lee Yong Woo
- Cheon Ju An nailed the chip shot challenge perfectly
- Shin Woo Jae impressed with tight ball control and 1-on-1 dribbling, backed by his overseas experience
The coaches didn’t hold back when it came to scouting talent. Coach Kim Nam Il even left his seat and gave it his all to recruit a player he had his eye on — catching everyone’s attention.
Who will grab which player? And how will these new picks change the future of the teams?
