Law and the City stars Lee Jong Suk and Moon Ga Young are heading to Malaysia to watch the final episode of their hit drama alongside fans!

On July 24, industry insiders revealed that tvN’s weekend drama Law and the City will hold a special finale screening event in Malaysia on August 10, and both lead actors will attend to meet local fans in person.

The event is drawing huge attention, especially since it’s rare for Korean dramas to host their finale screenings outside of Korea.

The decision to go international was reportedly influenced by the drama’s rising popularity in Malaysia, which is quickly becoming one of the largest K-drama markets in Asia. Thanks to the strong demand from fans, a press conference will also be held as part of the visit.

More than 1,000 Malaysian fans are expected to attend the event, eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars and enjoy the finale together.

While fan screenings are occasionally held in Korea for drama finales, holding one overseas is a rare and special move—especially with big names like Lee Jong Suk involved, who remains one of the most in-demand Hallyu stars today.

Law and the City follows five young associate lawyers working in Seoul’s busy legal district of Seocho-dong. The series highlights their daily struggles, career challenges, and personal growth as they navigate the legal world.

The drama kicked off with a 4.6% viewership rating (according to Nielsen Korea) and recently hit its personal best of 6.1% in episode 6. With six more episodes to go, fans are already buzzing with excitement and expecting even higher ratings as the finale approaches.

This upcoming Malaysia event is just another sign of how powerful the global K-drama wave has become—and fans can’t wait to see what surprises Lee Jong Suk and Moon Ga Young have in store for the finale.
