Lee Dong Wook is making waves online after speaking honestly—and a little shyly—about his rumored “some” connection with comedienne Jang Do Yeon.
On July 23, a new video was uploaded to Park Na Rae’s YouTube channel Narae Sik. During the episode, the topic of Jang Do Yeon came up—and Lee Dong Wook’s reaction had everyone smiling.
As soon as her name was mentioned, Lee Dong Wook waved his hand and said, “Please stop talking about Do Yeon. She must be feeling pressured.” He then joked, “When I mentioned her again on I Live Alone, she looked like she had enough of it.”
Park Na Rae agreed, adding, “That video from five years ago where we told you two to try dating is still going around!”
Lee Dong Wook then opened up more, saying, “I honestly think those kinds of jokes are funny, and I don’t mind them at all. A lot of male actors have been on Do Yeon’s YouTube channel and said she’s their ideal type. There was definitely some vibe between us.”
But he also shared his concern, saying, “If I keep talking about it, I worry that Do Yeon might get uncomfortable.” His words showed just how much he respects her and values their friendship.
Later, one of the staff asked a cheeky question: “Do you get jealous when she’s linked with other male actors?” Lee Dong Wook laughed and replied, “Not at all. Because Do Yeon likes me the most.”
