Trot singer Young Tak just made a surprising confession on national TV — he opened up for the first time ever about the kind of woman he dreams of marrying, and even hinted at a specific celebrity who matches his ideal type!
On the July 18 episode of MBN and Channel S’s joint variety show Jeon Hyun Moo Project 2, Young Tak joined Jeon Hyun Moo and Gwak Tube (real name Gwak Jun Bin) on a fun foodie trip to a famous galbi (Korean BBQ) restaurant in Suwon.
While enjoying mouthwatering grilled meat, the trio ended up having a deep and unexpected talk about love and marriage.
As they praised the galbi nonstop, Jeon Hyun Moo joked in a trot-style voice, “Other galbi places, step aside! This is new-trot!” He then teased Young Tak, calling him “the face of new-trot,” to which Young Tak proudly replied, “That’s right! And I have a new song coming out with Kim Yeon Ja!” He even revealed the song on TV for the first time ever, leaving Jeon Hyun Moo impressed and excited.
But things got more real when Jeon Hyun Moo suddenly asked, “Are you not planning to get married?”
Young Tak replied honestly, “It’s been about five years since I joined the trot competition show, but…” He paused, then shared his thoughts on marriage.
He added, “Even Jang Min Ho hyung isn’t married yet,” making Jeon Hyun Moo laugh awkwardly and say, “Min Ho is the same age as me…”
Then came the big moment — Young Tak revealed his ideal type, saying, “Someone with a bright smile and a cool personality.” He even dropped a hint that he has a certain celebrity in mind, but didn’t name her directly. Jeon Hyun Moo dramatically closed his eyes and said, “Oh, this guy!” making everyone more curious.
