On the July 1 episode of World of Street Woman Fighter (WSWF), TWICE made an unexpected appearance that left judges, fans, and even Park Jin Young completely stunned.
The episode featured the intense Mega Crew mission, which would decide the second team to be eliminated.
During the performance by Osaka Ojo Gang, viewers were shocked to see Momo take the stage — but she didn’t come alone. Joining her were fellow TWICE members Sana, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Nayeon, showing full support for dancer Hana, who happens to be Momo’s real older sister.
As the performance video started, Momo made a dramatic entrance, covering the top of her face as she walked in. But her identity didn’t stay a secret for long.
Judge Park Jin Young noticed immediately and said,
“That jawline looks like Momo’s,” clearly surprised by her sudden appearance.
During a powerful sibling duet between Momo and Hana, judge Hyojin Choi reacted with excitement, saying,
“Okay, sisters! If it were me, I think I would’ve cried.”
Judge Mike Song was also moved, commenting,
“That’s real family support. It’s so beautiful.”
While the moment touched many, not everyone was impressed. Members of the U.S. team MOTF (Motive) had a colder reaction. Team leader Mally and dancer Pantheiyeh said,
“If you don’t like or know TWICE, this doesn’t mean anything. Osaka Ojo Gang just looks like backup dancers,” brushing off the impact of the idol group’s performance.
Despite mixed opinions, TWICE’s appearance became one of the biggest highlights of the episode, and fans are calling it one of the most emotional and unforgettable moments on WSWF so far.
