Actor Park Sung Hoon shocked fans with a behind-the-scenes story about filming two intense death scenes—on the same day.

On July 1, the YouTube channel Netflix Korea dropped a new video featuring the cast of Squid Game Season 3, including Im Si Wan, Park Sung Hoon, Kang Ae Sim, and Jo Yu Ri, as they watched scenes together and shared honest reactions.

One emotional moment showed the heartbreaking end of Hyeon Ju, Park Sung Hoon’s character, who had gained massive love from fans since Season 2.

“The director asked if I could shed a tear before collapsing,” Park shared. “Thankfully, it worked out on the first try.”

When the brutal twist played out onscreen, Im Si Wan nervously asked, “Why did Myeong Gi do that?” Park Sung Hoon replied with a laugh, “You’re the one who said you wanted to be in this show!”

But the real surprise came when Park revealed what happened after filming that scene. “That day, we filmed Hyeon Ju’s death in Daejeon, then immediately moved to Jeongseon in Gangwon Province,” he said.

“That same day, I filmed Yoon Eun Seong’s death scene for Queen of Tears. Two emotional scenes back-to-back. It was really exhausting.”

Co-star Kang Ae Sim got emotional and said, “It really was so tough,” while Jo Yu Ri added, “Even though I read the script, watching it is so much more shocking.”

Fans were stunned to learn that Park Sung Hoon had to handle two heartbreaking goodbyes in one day, proving once again his incredible dedication to acting.
