On the latest episode of tvN’s “Unnie’s Farm Direct 2” aired on June 29, Dex opened up about a surprising moment of awkwardness with actress Lim Ji Yeon, even though they had met before and seemed friendly.
Dex appeared as a guest in the new sibling lineup along with Yum Jung Ah, Park Joon Myeon, Lim Ji Yeon, and Lee Jae Wook. But right from the start, fans noticed something was off — Dex looked uncomfortable around Lim Ji Yeon.
Seeing his awkward body language, Lim Ji Yeon gently asked,
“Can I ask why you can’t look me in the eyes?”
The two had previously filmed together on Dex’s YouTube channel, where they seemed to bond well.
Yum Jung Ah also asked,
“Didn’t you two get close back then?”
Dex honestly replied,
“I thought we did, but when I saw her at the Baeksang Awards the other day, I felt some distance.”
The cast couldn’t help but tease him. Park Joon Myeon playfully asked,
“Why were you even there?”
Dex jokingly responded,
“Please show me some interest,”
To which Yum Jung Ah followed up with,
“Were you nominated?”
Dex explained,
“For a variety show,”
Yum Jung Ah quickly joked,
“Of course it was for variety. As if you’d be nominated for acting,”
causing everyone to burst into laughter.
