
Lee Hyori has always been known for her healthy lifestyle—and now she’s revealing one of her long-time wellness secrets: intermittent fasting.
On June 28, a new episode of We Just Happen to Eat Together was uploaded to the YouTube channel Ttung Ttung, where the iconic singer opened up about her daily routine and eating habits.
“I haven’t eaten breakfast in 15 years,” Lee Hyori shared casually. “I don’t really feel like eating in the morning.”

She went on to explain her schedule, saying,
“I only eat two meals a day—lunch at 12 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. After that, I just go to bed.”
Host Yoo Jae Suk was shocked, commenting,

“So that’s a 17-hour gap without food!”
Lee Hyori nodded and said,
“I’ve been living like that for a long time.”
She admitted that while the lifestyle works well for her, it can sometimes cause awkward moments when traveling or meeting with friends.
“When friends visit or we go on trips and they say they’re hungry in the morning, I don’t match well with them,” she said with a laugh.
Her husband Lee Sang Soon also follows the same rhythm.
“Oppa doesn’t eat in the morning either,” she added. “We’ve never eaten late-night snacks, either.”
Talking about their life on Jeju Island, she revealed,
“Back then, we couldn’t even order delivery food from our house. When we opened the app, it just said ‘0 stores available.’ So we got used to cooking just two meals a day ourselves.”
