IVE’s very own Liz is heading to the pitcher’s mound for the first time ever—adding “ceremonial first pitch” to her growing list of unforgettable moments!
According to her agency Starship Entertainment, Liz will be making a special appearance at the 2025 KBO League game between the LG Twins and the KIA Tigers at Seoul’s Jamsil Baseball Stadium on June 29 at 5 PM KST. She’s been invited to throw the ceremonial first pitch as a show of support for the LG Twins.
Fans may remember Liz showing off her cheerful charm earlier this year when she appeared as a ceremonial batter during the final match of JTBC’s “Strongest Baseball” Season 3, alongside fellow member Ahn Yu Jin. Now, she’s stepping up once again—this time with her first-ever pitch!
Through her agency, Liz shared her excitement, saying:
“It’s such an honor to do my first pitch with the LG Twins. I sincerely thank the team for giving me this special opportunity, and I hope all the players stay safe and put on an amazing game. Since it’s my first time pitching, I’m both nervous and excited, but I’ll do my best to throw with all my heart for the LG Twins’ win.”
Since debuting with IVE in 2021, Liz has been praised for both her stunning visuals and strong vocal talent. She’s proven herself with impressive live vocals, participated in OSTs like “Summer” and “Heavy Love”, and even showed her lyrical skills by co-writing “Thank U” from IVE’s third album.
And there’s more to look forward to—IVE, including Liz, is headed to Lollapalooza Paris and Lollapalooza Berlin this July. Their pre-release track “Rebel Heart” earned a Perfect All-Kill, and their title song “ATTITUDE” sparked a fun viral dance challenge known as the “Rampaging Guinea Pig” trend.
Now with her first pitch on the way, fans are excited to cheer on Liz not just on stage, but on the baseball field too!
