Rookie girl group H1-KEY is clearing the air after sudden rumors about switching agencies just ahead of their upcoming comeback.
On June 20, their current agency GLG Entertainment responded to reports claiming the group was moving to Choi Creative Lab, saying:
“Nothing has been confirmed. H1-KEY’s upcoming album, which will be released on June 26, is a joint production between GLG and Choi Creative Lab.”
Earlier that day, Korean media outlet Hankook Ilbo reported that all members of H1-KEY had already made the decision to transfer to Choi Creative Lab, a company currently home to Apink’s Park Cho Rong, Yoon Bo Mi, Kim Nam Joo, Oh Ha Young, as well as Kim Yeon Ja, Kim So Yeon, Hwang Min Woo, and Hwang Min Ho.
However, GLG quickly stepped in to address the situation, repeating their cautious stance:
“Nothing has been confirmed.”
H1-KEY first debuted in 2022 with their single “Athletic Girl”, but really rose to fame after their emotional sleeper hit “Rose Blossom”, which earned them the nickname “the rose that bloomed between buildings.”
Now, the group is preparing to return with their 4th mini album ‘Lovestruck’ on June 26 — but with all the buzz surrounding their potential agency move, fans are paying even closer attention to what comes next.
Stay tuned, because things might be changing for H1-KEY — and this comeback could be their most talked-about one yet.
